Jog-a-Thon

We had fun flexible day of exercising inside for the Jog-a-thon.  The kids had fun and our day was a success!

 

 

The Next Couple Days

Tomorrow is Pirate Day for the second graders.  They are allowed to come dressed like a pirate but do not feel obligated to purchase anything- time to get creative. :)

The jog-a-thon is on Friday.  We are scheduled to run at 10:00 am, although sometimes the schedule gets a little off kilter and we aren't told to go out at the regular time.  You may want to show up a little bit early if you're planning on coming to cheer on your kiddos.  We will come out onto the intermediate playground basketball courts to warm up so that area and/or the field is the perfect place to head.

Lunch time on Friday will be a school-wide picnic on the field after the jog.  Students are allowed to bring towels to sit on.  Let us know if you have any questions.

Birthday Treats Rule

Mrs. Thoroughman has decided that we are no longer able to have treats for birthdays in the classrooms.  We will continue to give pencils and homework passes for a treat, but we can no longer do any food for birthdays due to food allergies.

Oops- we repeated a word on the challenge list! Change #15 to "impossible". :) Sorry!
